Announcing: 275 Best Books for Biology for Kids

Hello friends of Multimedia Homeschool! I wanted to let you know about a new resource. If you’ve been following my blog the last few weeks, you know I’ve been sharing some of my favorite books for teaching biology during the elementary years.¬†Yesterday, I finished work on this project, and bundled it into a 68-page resource.

The end result is the first book in my Blueprints for Homeschool Science series and it covers biology for kids during the elementary years. Biology: 275 Best Books, Videos, and Games to Supplement Elementary Science includes over 275 recommendations for my favorite books, videos, and video games to supplement your child’s interests across life science. It covers 35 topics in four major categories:

Biology Books for Kids~Animal Life (from Cells to Primates)
~Biomes (from Polar to Rainforests)
~Human Body Systems (Skeletal to Immune)
~Plants (Seeds to Trees)

These are all resources I’ve used (usually by borrowing them from the library or streaming them on Netflix or Amazon Prime) during the two years I’ve taught biology with¬†my elementary kids. Most of them are picture books by well-known science writers. Some are fantastic photography collections. Others are quirky collections of trivia. If you find even a couple books in here that you love, then I’ll have done my job and helped you out!

Make biology fun for your kids!

The eBook is available on Kindle for $1.99 only, and will be free this coming weekend (March 20-22, 2015) to celebrate its release.

Please pick up a copy to supplement your biology studies!
